Our Cat Had Kittens In A Storage Box One Was Dead When I Found Them . I Moved The Other 3 She Seems Fine For?

now but did I do the right thing why did she have them in secret it was accidental I found them and of all places in with the christmas tree, now what should I do for her ?

Cats like dark, secluded places to have their babies. Chances are it was no accident she had them there. She may move them from where you put them. I would make their new home dark as well, maybe a box in the closet. Just make sure she has plenty of privacy. She’ll eat and drink when she can and the rest of the time she’ll take care of her babies. I usually put a heating pad(on low) under the towel or blankets the kittens are on. Other than that, she will do everything on her own. All you have to do is enjoy the kittens. If she keeps them around for you to see and she lets you near them.
It was fine to move the kittens if they were in an inappropriate place. Cats like to have their kittens in a private spot to protect them from intruders. She may move them again so keep an eye on her. If she’s outside, move her and the kittens indoors as they’ll be much safer.
As for what to do for mom, feed her a high quality kitten food so she gets extra calories to keep up her strength during nursing and have her spayed as soon as the kittens are weaned. The kittens should not be rehomed till at least 10 weeks old so mom has time to teach them the important cat things they need to know.
The first thing you should do is take your cat to the vet to have her dewormed for intestinal parasites, have her anal glands checked to see if they are full or impacted and to see if she is having a constipation problem.

She probably did that because she thought it was a comfortable place. If you think your cat is preggo in the future way ahead of time make her up a comfy box somewhere quiet in the house with towels or an old blanket that she can get used to before hand. If she likes it, chances are she will have her next litter there.
Pretty kitty is right on also get a big box one she can stretch out in. Line it with layers of newspapers so you can reach in and removed soiled top ones with out disturbing the babies to much. Close the top up and cut a momma size hole halfway up the side . Make it big enough she can get in and high enough the babies can not get out. make two so she has a choice
